This large beer stein stands over 20" tall and it features Gambrinus, the mythical king of beer atop his castle tower, lifting his chalice and offering a toast. He is framed by lions, overflowing steins, hops and malt. A poem saluting his role in beer appears at the top right and left of the beer stein. The beer stein is accented with six gold bands. The stoneware tower is hand painted in a rustic matte finish, complete with windows, detailed brickwork and archways. On top of the pewter lid are stoneware castle steeples. A pewter griffin is the thumb lift.
